My Philosophy: Heart, Honesty, and sometimes that Little Extra Mile
Hello, I’m Tracey and I’m glad you are reading this! Welcome to this messy, beautiful journey of being human.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but sometimes, when you’re sitting opposite a therapist the words just won’t come. That’s where I come in. I don’t believe in “clinical” distances. I believe in deep respect, empathy, and unwavering
integrity. To me, being a counsellor isn’t just a job; it’s a commitment to being a nurturing,
ethical, and honest anchor for you while you navigate life’s storms.

I’m a nurturer by nature, but I’m also a straight shooter. I will hold space for your pain with the utmost tenderness, but I will also be the person who helps you stand back up and fight that inner critical voice. I will help you discover your needs and who you want to be.
Life can be heavy, but you don’t have to carry it alone. Let’s find the words, find the hope, and maybe even find a reason to laugh together along the way.
Ready to start? I’m already in your corner. What’s the one thing you’re hoping to feel differently about after our first few sessions together…….?
The Person Behind the Professional
When I’m not in the therapy room, I’m usually fuelled with curiosity for the world. My soul breathes in art galleries, the energy of a bustling city, and the magic of a musical’s opening night.
I am a lover of

With all those that matter in my life.
Creativity
I find joy in art and creativity.
Compassion
I have a huge soft spot for animals and nature (including humans, too!)

The best place to watch the world go by.

I really love spicy food!

Words Of Thanks
The greatest privilege of my work is witnessing the courage of those I sit with. Here is what some of them have shared about our journey together.
I’ve been going to Tracey for the last 3 years and I honestly can’t express how much she’s changed my life, I just wished I’d started my therapy with her earlier. She’s a genius at getting me to talk on days I’d really rather not, but without even asking me a single question- like magic! What I appreciate more than anything in my sessions is Tracey has never made me feel stupid, unreasonable in my thoughts or uncomfortable when I feel it’s a very vulnerable topic- instead she explains why my brain and my body reacts to trauma this way with science based facts on how the brain interprets information and I love this. It’s really taken away a lot of the feelings I really disliked about myself knowing I’m not the problem. Her calm, relaxed atmosphere really makes me feel instantly relaxed and her attitude to therapy is very professional, yet normal! I couldn’t imagine talking to someone with my most personal thoughts who hadn’t been able to give me back little snippets of their life experiences too- it’s very humbling to know I’m not the only one who feels a certain way in my head. I shout from the rooftops to anyone who wants to talk about therapy and its benefits and I am not exaggerating when I recommend everyone to see Tracey if there’s anything they are struggling with, she has honestly given me so much in life showing me how I’m able to understand my feelings and myself more than I ever have before resulting in a much happier calmer life I now love.
See moreTracey is an unbelievable counsellor; I’ve been through many counsellors and have seen by far the most progress whilst under Tracey’s help. When I first came to Tracey, I struggled massively. I couldn’t cope on a day-to-day basis; I couldn’t get a job and do things other people could because of my thoughts and stuff. I’ve been with Tracey just over a year and have accomplished so much through her help. Got my dream job, got another job helping people, helped me do so much I don’t think would have been possible without her help. Even though Tracey always maintains a professional manner, I’ve never felt like she’s rushing me, or is there for money; she takes her time to help me, even if I have to message on the weekend. I cannot recommend her enough as she’s absolutely fantastic.
See moreTracey has been instrumental in my recovery—I truly wouldn’t have come this far without her. I’ve always struggled to open up, but she has a natural way of helping me relax. Before I know it, I’m talking freely and openly in a way I never thought possible. She creates such a calm, welcoming, and safe environment, which makes it so much easier to be honest and vulnerable. Even though I’m now in a much better place, I can’t imagine not continuing sessions with her. After years of care and support, she has become my safe space. Thank you, as always, Tracey.
See moreQualifications and training

Becoming a therapist was a journey I took “long and hard,” driven by the belief that this work is a true privilege. While I am professionally qualified at a master’s Level 7, and practice ethically having regular supervision and lots of ongoing training, I believe my most profound education hasn’t come from a textbook.
Over the last 14 years, the people I have worked with have been the “best books I’ve ever read”. They have taught me the true meaning of the human experience and what it looks like to deeply support another person.
I don’t promise “magic cures,” but I do offer unwavering support and empathy. My goal is to create a space where you never feel judged, allowing you to feel completely supported and comfortable exactly as you are.
